Participants will learn to put together a trends book to complete their portfolios.
Study Plan:
The concept of fashion trend, customs and economics: cultural phenomena and production strategies. How to plan a product in relation to current trends. From the color to the fabric. From the fabric to the shapes. The target concept in relation to fashion trends. Identifying the topics behind trends. Tests, discussions and hands-on research. Organizing teamwork. Coordinating color charts, materials, fashion plates. At the end of the course the different teams compare their experiences -

This course is for students, young fashion designers and anyone who needs to organise and prepare a portfolio that proves their creativity and professional preparation. Your portfolio is a tool for self-promotion, indispensable for job interviews, competitions or when undertaking specialist studies.
In the world of fashion the first impression makes all the difference, therefore successful visual communication is extremely important. Assembly of fashion illustrations is a long, difficult task, but fashion is a world dominated by images, so your work must be presented in its best light, reflecting your pride in it.
